Meanwhile, now news has come out that Karan Johar has resigned from the post of Director of Mumbai Academy of the Moving Image (MAMI), hurt by the controversy over nepotism. According to the information received, Karan has spoken to Artist Director Smriti Kiran of this festival to resign.
